Scotts Valley backed a 100% affordable housing project at 4444 Scotts Valley Drive during its Sept. 4 meeting. Developer CRP Affordable Housing sought early approval to pursue critical funding, though the design may change. The 25-unit, three-story project is the first under the city’s new Housing Element, using Density Bonus Law and SB 35 benefits. Twenty-four units will serve residents earning 30-50% of AMI, with one unit for an on-site manager.
